2018 US Open featuring Venus Williams

American Express has sponsored the US Open for over two decades and each year they push to make sure their brand feels fresh and top of mind for all cardmembers attending. In 2018 they wanted to film a spot that compared how an Amex cardmember would experience the Open versus how top talent like Venus Williams would. We shot this over a 9 hour day on the US Open grounds and then used it to build out the whole digital marketing campaign.

In-between setting up scenes for our main spot, we had enough time to quickly shoot some additional pieces of content highlighting key benefits a cardmember would receive at the Open. We also were able to get shots that were used for Boomerangs and other short-form pieces of content.
