Never Been in Love, Cobra Starship music video

Director Randy Scott Slavin approached me to design and illustrate the lyrics for his new music video, “Never Been in Love” by Cobra Starship. The video was planned to be shot using stop motion and hyperlapse techniques with a newly released device, the Pixelstick. I created over 200 original typographic illustrations that would be projected and recorded in locations all over NYC. We shot this over 5 days and were featured as the first official music video to use the device to create all it's typography.

This is how I kept my typography consistent throughout the video. By using a a base computer typed out structure, it helped keep similar typographic proportions.
