Game of Brands Corporate identity
Some of the foundational practices in design are branding and corporate identity. Since this is a skill that can be applied to anything, I pitched a faux company and branding identity system for each of the houses in Game of Thrones. Working with freelancer Elliot Scott and other internal partners for each house, we have had 3 successful years with this campaign. Each year we build a new company and identity system for a house as it’s introduced into the series.
This is a great example of creating a single concept that can grow organically every year without feeling dated or irrelevant. Each new season of Game of Thrones resurfaces our evergreen content and continues steady, organic traffic from show mentions online.
